I am currently an assistant professor at the Statistics Department of Iowa State University and affiliated with the Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Sciences (CSAFE). My graduate work in statistics was done under the guidance of Catherine (Kate) Calder at the Ohio State University. I also have a Juris Doctorate from Ohio State. I am currently admitted to the bar in Iowa and West Virginia.
My research interests are motivated by the impact that data and analysis of data have in shaping policies and laws in our society. I am particularly interested in bridging what I perceive as a gap between statistics and law.
